Recruiter Job Description This role is focused on Light-industrial / labor–related hires. Need high-volume recruiting experience. (Think hiring people for multiple labor roles). Position Summary We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support full-cycle recruiting efforts by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent. This role partners with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, source qualified candidates, manage the hiring process, and ensure a positive candidate experience while maintaining compliance with all applicable employment laws. Key Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer coordination, and onboarding support. Build and maintain candidate pipelines using job boards, networking, employee referrals, social media, and other sourcing channels. Review resumes, conduct candidate evaluations, and recommend qualified applicants for open positions. Coordinate interviews and maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process. Ensure applicant and position data is accurate, complete, and maintained within the applicant tracking system (ATS). Analyze recruiting metrics and generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports on hiring activity and recruiting performance. Assist with workforce planning initiatives by utilizing recruiting data and enterprise workforce planning tools. Support employment branding initiatives to promote the organization’s employer brand. Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, including affirmative action requirements. Support additional Human Resources initiatives and special projects as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university required. 2–4 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience in a high-volume environment. Experience recruiting within transportation, hospitality, manufacturing, food service, or similar industries is highly preferred. Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and recruiting best practices. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting metrics/reporting. Multilingual skills are highly desirable. PHR or SPHR certification is a plus. Ability to travel up to 25% as needed. What You’ll Bring Strong sourcing and interviewing skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
