Government Training Engineering - Manufacturing Engineer (Associate and Experienced)

The Boeing Company, through Boeing Global Services (BGS), is seeking Associate (Level2) and Experienced (Level3) Manufacturing Engineers to join the Government Training Engineering (GTE) Production Engineering team supporting Air Dominance programs in Hazelwood,MO and Oklahoma City,OK. These engineers will transform complex technical requirements into executable build plans and digital work instructions for advanced military training systems, including high‑fidelity simulators, maintenance trainers, visual systems, immersive technologies, and computing infrastructure. The role focuses on improving commonality, manufacturability, and efficiency across sub‑assembly, final assembly, and installation activities, ensuring the on‑time delivery of mission‑critical training solutions. Position Responsibilities Create and maintain build plans, model‑based work instructions, and associated digital assets for manufacturing execution. Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks. Integrate advanced digital tools into production workflows. Define and document Production System requirements and best practices. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production systems. Collaborate closely with design engineering, manufacturing operations, tooling, quality, safety, and PLM/PDM teams. Basic Qualifications (Required) Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field, or non‑US equivalent qualifications. 1+year(s) experience in a manufacturing engineering role. 1+year(s) experience supporting cross‑functional or cross‑organizational teams within engineering and/or test. 1+year(s) experience in integration with PLM/MES in a make‑to‑stock or make‑to‑order environment. Preferred Qualifications (Desired) 3+years of higher education and/or related work experience. Ability to perform engineering analysis of design for manufacturability, assembly, and product support requirements. Basic knowledge and hands‑on experience with Boeing internal PDM systems (GOLDesp and Prime‑R). Experience creating Model Based Instruction (MBIs) in Siemens Teamcenter Visualization. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills applied to manufacturing process improvements and technology integration. Exposure to aerospace manufacturing standards and regulated environments.
