Moda-Stone is seeking a full time, motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative to drive sales growth across retail, wholesale, and commercial markets. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with builders, contractors, architects, designers, wholesale accounts, and homeowners while generating new business opportunities throughout the territory. The ideal candidate is self-driven, organized, and comfortable working both in the showroom and in the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and relationship building.
• Identify and develop accounts not currently serviced by Moda-Stone.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing builders, contractors, architects, designers, and wholesale customers.
• Conduct outside sales calls and site visits to increase product awareness and sales opportunities.
• Meet or exceed established sales goals and revenue targets.

Retail & Showroom Sales

• Assist walk-in customers and homeowners with product selection and design recommendations.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
• Educate customers on stone products, applications, and installation considerations.
• Prepare estimates, follow up on leads, and manage customer inquiries in a timely manner.

 

Builder, Architect & Wholesale Account Management

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with builders, architects, designers, and wholesale partners.
• Present products and services to industry professionals.
• Coordinate project requirements and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments.

Homeowner Consultations

• Schedule and conduct appointments with homeowners.
• Assist homeowners in selecting stone products that meet their design, budget, and project requirements.
• Visit project sites to measure countertops, fireplaces, showers, outdoor kitchens, and other stone applications.
• Gather accurate project information necessary for estimating and proposal preparation.
• Coordinate with estimating and production teams to ensure accurate project specifications.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and project information.
• Track leads, opportunities, and sales performance through company systems.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding pricing, contracts, and customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in outside sales, preferably in the stone, construction, building materials, home improvement, or related industry.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop new business and manage existing accounts.
• Comfortable working independently and managing a sales territory.
• Basic measuring and estimating skills or willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of natural stone, quartz, countertops, tile, or related building products.
• Experience working with builders, architects, designers, and contractors.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel for customer meetings and project site visits.
• Ability to lift sample materials and product displays as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and measure project sites.
