Concho County Hospital Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Medical Laboratory Technologist / Technician (PRN) Location: Eden, Texas About Us Concho County Hospital (CCH) is a 16-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Central Texas, providing quality healthcare to our rural community with a dedicated, collaborative team. Our moderate-complexity clinical laboratory plays a vital role in patient care, and we’re seeking a qualified PRN technologist or technician to join our team. Position Summary The PRN CLS/MT/MLT performs a variety of laboratory tests across multiple departments, ensuring accurate and timely results. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications National certification required (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent). Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience. Experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Serology, and Coagulation (Blood Bank & Micro experience helpful but not required). Phlebotomy skills required. Knowledge of CPSI EMR preferred but not required. Strong multitasking ability and organizational skills. Must be able to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Additional Requirements Rotating on-call schedule participation. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
