Network Engineer - Cisco & Juniper Expert

Salary: $81,000 - 121,000 per year Requirements:

• Active Top Secret Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI
• At least six (6) years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing network solutions
• Proven experience in troubleshooting complex Local Area Network (LAN) issues and resolving Wide Area Network (WAN) problems
• Significant expertise with Cisco routing platforms, including Aggregation Services Routers (ASRs)
• Extensive knowledge of routing protocols and technologies, such as BGP, EIGRP, DMVPN, GRE
• In-depth understanding of Layer 2 technologies, including STP, MST, and VLANs
• Experience providing Tier 3 support and issue resolution
• Background in network design and traffic engineering
• Capability to deliver senior-level engineering support
• Experience in a large enterprise environment
• Strong communication skills

• Collect user network requirements employing various methodologies to produce essential documentation
• Install, maintain, and assess network and communications systems
• Diagnose and resolve intricate network challenges involving diverse protocols, topologies, and hardware
• Conduct network architecture design, feasibility studies, and cost analyses
• Leverage comprehensive knowledge of networking, routers, switches, firewalls, and peripherals to enhance current designs
• Utilize technical and business acumen to refine processes for network infrastructure deployment and maintenance
• Collaborate independently and with a team to enhance network solutions and contribute to service improvements
