Job Description

As a Building and Construction Project Executive in Rochester, you will:

• Provide executive oversight for multiple construction projects and project teams
• Lead project strategy from preconstruction through closeout
• Drive project financial performance, forecasting, and profitability
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, design teams, and key stakeholders
• Mentor and support Project Managers and operational staff
• Review project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource plans
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements
• Participate in business development and client relationship efforts
• Collaborate with operations leadership to maximize project performance
• Monitor and resolve high-level project risks and challenges
• Support recruiting, team development, and succession planning initiatives

The Successful Applicant

The successful Project Excutive candidate in Rochester, NY will have:

• 10+ years of construction management experience
• Proven leadership experience managing large or multiple projects
• Strong financial, operational, and strategic planning abilities
• Experience leading project teams and mentoring staff
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels
• Strong understanding of project delivery methods, contracts, and risk management
• Demonstrated ability to drive project profitability and client satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a MEP General Contractor (GC) or construction management firm
• Background managing commercial, healthcare, institutional, industrial, or large-scale construction projects
• Experience overseeing multiple Project Managers and project teams
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong business development and relationship management skills
