Apprentice Lineman or Journeyman Lineman

We’re hiring! Atchison-Holt Electric Cooperative is seeking a qualified individual to fill a full-time position as an Apprentice Lineman or Journeyman Lineman. The Cooperative is willing to train the right candidate. Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities include performing a variety of tasks necessary for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the electric distribution system. Duties involve both climbing and non‑climbing work on de‑energized and energized electrical facilities under the supervision of a lineman, journeyman lineman, foreman, or operations superintendent. Qualifications: High school education or equivalent. Ability and willingness to learn and perform the duties required of the position, including hot‑line work. Commitment to following the Cooperative’s safety procedures and job training requirements. Willingness to participate in required training and develop the skills necessary to perform the job safely and effectively.
