Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Lagrange, GA. As a key player in our procurement process, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials that meet our quality standards while optimizing costs. If you have a knack for negotiation and a passion for supply chain management, we want to hear from you!

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure the best quality and pricing.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast future purchasing needs.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Resolve any issues related to procurement, including discrepancies and vendor disputes.
• Stay updated on market trends and changes in supply chain dynamics.

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
