Job Summary
The organization is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for an acute care hospital in Orange, California. This role involves providing high-acuity patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on critical patient management and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The position requires recent ICU experience and offers a night shift schedule with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California license in hand, minimum 2 years of ICU experience including recent ICU experience, certifications in ACLS and BLS, at least 1 year of patient care experience, and experience working in an ICU setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, high-acuity ICU experience highly preferred.
• Float: Float to other designated units may be required, up to 100% of shifts.
• Additional Information:
  • RTO restrictions: RTO must be included at the time of submission.
  • Open to candidates new to ICU or first-timers.
  • Guaranteed hours available; facility can call off once per two-week pay period.
  • Demographics served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with a daily census of 18.
  • The unit handles complex cases such as respiratory failure, stroke, sepsis, and post-cardiac surgery patients, utilizing advanced invasive procedures and equipment including intra-aortic balloon pumps, ventricular assist devices, and continuous renal replacement therapy.
  • Must be willing to work three of the five major holidays.
  • The assignment begins on 08/11/2026.
  • Local radius is 50 miles; candidates within this radius are considered local.
  • Candidates must respond to specific screening questions, including prior experience at similar facilities and current LA fire card.
  • Two references, covering at least one year, are required during the compliance process.
