Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for an assigned group of patients during a designated timeframe
• Perform ongoing and systematic patient assessments focusing on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status
• Provide patient care through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and available instrumentation and environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care team members to deliver coordinated patient care
• Carry out duties in accordance with established standards of care and divisional nursing core values
• Report directly to the assigned Unit Director

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
• PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) experience
• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments in an acute care setting
• Ability to work mid shifts as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a PACU or post-surgical recovery environment
• Familiarity with physiologic monitoring and post-anesthesia patient management
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within a multidisciplinary team
