Financial Analyst

Beacon Search Group has a client in the Lancaster, OH area seeking a Financial Analyst. This is a direct hire position with great benefits and incentives.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and compliant accounting records
• Perform bank reconciliations and support financial transactions
• Review capital expenditures and ensure proper coding
• Manage fixed assets, tooling schedules, and related reconciliations
• Track and update program-related purchase orders and cash disbursements
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities
• Conduct variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast)
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain supporting documentation
• Support engineering and program teams with financial processes
• Collaborate with AR/AP to ensure timely and accurate invoicing
• Maintain and analyze financial data in Excel spreadsheet
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and business planning
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

• Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA, or CA)
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Automotive industry experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, flexible environment
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments
• Maintains confidentiality with professionalism and discretion
