Travel Respiratory Therapist - Registered RT/RRT

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a night shift hospital assignment requiring 2 years of experience and NJ licensure.

Job Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit,
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM),
• Every other weekend required,
• Primarily treats adult patients, with required comfort treating neonatal patients in Level 2 Special Care Nursery,
• May also see pediatric patients in the ED,
• Floating required among 5 hospitals within skillset (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL),
• Uses Epic EMR,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months,
• RRT or CRT certification,
• NJ license required if applicable,
• ACLS certification required,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• Active state license(s) and certifications must be in hand prior to consideration,
• Nursys verification must be dated within 2 weeks of submission reflecting an active NJ or Compact license,

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, neonatal, and pediatric populations as needed,
• Coverage required for 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday,
• Black scrub color required,
• First-time travelers accepted, though experienced travelers preferred,
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions,
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital are subject to a local rate,
• Complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing,
• Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit
