Vice President of Product (San Francisco)

IC Resources is partnering with an innovative deep-tech company developing next-generation computing technologies for AI infrastructure and high-performance systems. As the business enters its next phase of commercial growth, we're seeking an experienced VP Product to define and execute the company's product vision and strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the product direction of a cutting-edge hardware and platform business working at the intersection of AI infrastructure, advanced computing, networking and semiconductor technologies.

The Opportunity

As VP Product, you'll lead product strategy across a portfolio of advanced computing technologies, working closely with executive leadership, engineering and commercial teams to transform breakthrough innovation into commercially successful products.

You'll own the product vision, roadmap and lifecycle while engaging directly with customers, strategic partners and industry stakeholders to influence future product direction.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term product strategy and roadmap.


• Lead product planning across complex hardware and platform technologies.


• Translate advanced engineering and R&D into commercially successful products.


• Partner closely with engineering, architecture and commercial teams to prioritize development.


• Develop strong relationships with enterprise customers, strategic partners and technology ecosystems.


• Establish scalable product management processes and governance.


• Present product strategy to executive leadership, investors and key external stakeholders.


• Build and mentor a high-performing product organization.

We're Looking For

You have a proven track record of leading product strategy for complex infrastructure technologies and enjoy operating in fast-moving technical environments.

Ideal experience includes:

• 15+ years of Product Management or Product Leadership experience.


• Experience within AI infrastructure, semiconductors, networking, HPC, data centre technologies or related deep-tech markets.


• Demonstrated success defining product strategy and commercializing sophisticated hardware or platform technologies.


• Strong understanding of AI infrastructure, compute architectures and high-speed connectivity.


• Experience with technologies such as PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, InfiniBand or similar interconnect standards.


• Ability to bridge highly technical engineering teams with commercial and customer requirements.


• Experience engaging directly with executive customers, strategic partners and investors.


• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Highly Desirable

• Experience working with hyperscalers or cloud infrastructure providers.


• Background in optical networking, silicon photonics or advanced semiconductor technologies.


• Startup or scale-up experience.


• Advanced technical degree (MS/PhD) and/or MBA.
