Prepress Specialist

Role Description The Prepress Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Natrona Heights, PA. This role is responsible for preparing customer artwork and files for printing, ensuring accuracy, color consistency, and compliance with production specifications. Daily tasks include reviewing and preflighting digital files, making necessary layout and design adjustments, and creating print-ready files for labels and packaging. The Prepress Specialist will collaborate closely with printing operators, designers, and account teams to resolve file issues, optimize print quality, and meet production timelines. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining prepress workflows, adhering to quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement of prepress processes. Qualifications Strong prepress and preflight skills, including preparing and reviewing files for print production. Hands-on experience with printing processes and print design for labels or packaging. Knowledge of packaging design principles and layout for cut-and-stack, IML, and other label formats. Proficiency with industry-standard design and prepress software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PDF tools). Attention to detail, color accuracy, and ability to interpret technical specifications and dielines. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with production and sales teams. Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple jobs and meet deadlines. Prior experience in a printing, labeling, or packaging environment preferred; relevant technical training or education is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
