Position Overview:
As a Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager, you will oversee and lead mechanical designs for engineering projects, ensuring timely and quality completion for public and private facilities throughout South Florida. This role requires direct interaction with clients, contractors, subconsultants, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and engineer HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Write project specifications and conduct cost estimations.
• Perform code analysis and energy modeling.
• Review project submittals, respond to RFIs, and provide construction administration services.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and clients.
• Conduct site visits and client meetings to investigate and assess project needs.
• Perform engineering calculations for mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Communicate complex ideas effectively and address engineering challenges.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience across various facility types.
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• Familiarity with building codes and energy standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.
• Experience with Trane TRACE, COMCheck, and other energy modeling software.
