P-Occupational Therapist

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation Facility: We are a 118-bed facility offering ShortStay Nursing Care, Rehabilitation Care, and Long Term Care. Our facility features a large gym with an ADL kitchen, outside patio, treadmill, 3 bikes, and a standing frame. We also offer the RevitalCare program, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. Patients: Our facility specializes in Rehab to Home and Long Term Care. Our patients come from a variety of backgrounds and have a range of conditions, providing a diverse and rewarding work experience. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with patients to help them regain independence and improve their daily living skills. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals Conduct evaluations to assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities Work with patients to improve their ability to perform daily tasks and activities Utilize adaptive equipment and techniques to help patients overcome physical limitations Educate patients and their families on ways to continue therapy at home Communicate regularly with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care for patients Document patient progress and maintain accurate records Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Experience working with patients in a rehabilitation or long term care setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of adaptive equipment and techniques Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
