OR Registered Nurse - 4x10 Days

This is a 13-week contract position.

Will work 4x10 hour shifts, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Additionally, on-call shifts are required, with up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks. There may be requirements to work one weekend shift per 4-week period and at least one holiday during the holiday periods.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse to join our team at a Level 1 trauma center. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both scrubbing and circulating surgical procedures across various specialties, including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedic, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics. The OR environment is dynamic and nurse-driven, using cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures in both the scrub and circulate roles.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Maintain and manage sterile fields throughout procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate patient conditions pre, during, and post-operation.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience strongly preferred.
• Current SC or Multi State/Compact RN license required.
• BLS certification required; radiation badge to be provided by the agency.
• Experience in scrub roles is strongly preferred.
