FIRE PROTECTION SPECIALIST

Job Description
You will conduct highly specialized inspections ranging from very difficult to often controversial areas.
You will administer a fire protection and prevention training program (e.g., structural firefighting, aircraft crash and rescue response, fire prevention and emergency medical services, etc.) for a fire department.
You will advise building officials on corrective action needed for code violations.
You will research technical manuals, fire codes, and trade references to reduce or eliminate fire hazards or conditions.
You will inspect a fire station to verify training objectives are accomplished and documented.
