The Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates/ project proposals for electrical construction projects while working in conjunction with engineering staff, subcontractors, vendors, general contractors, and various partners. Responsibilities:

• Perform takeoffs, estimate organization, generate proposals, change orders, and reviews for commercial electrical construction projects
• Estimating and quantity take-offs
• Preparing and managing bid packages
• Scheduling
• Cost control
• Subcontractor management
• Client relations
• Procurement
• Bid analysis and quality control
• Supports other members of the estimating team

Requirements:

• 5+ years Electrical Construction Estimating Experience (commercial/industrial experience preferred)
• Bachelor's or Associates Degree in related field preferred
• Experience with Estimating software preferred
• Experience with technical writing preferred
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
• Basic understanding of Estimating Software
• Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a team environment with pre sales team, project management team, and other estimators within the department
