Must-Have: Critical care and Angio/IR experience including stroke and trauma care.
Description: Unit Profile: The unit consists of Angiography/Interventional Labs. It is equipped with 3 Angiography Labs, including 2 dedicated IR labs and 1 Hybrid OR. The patient ratios are 1:1. Unit staffing includes a Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS. Ideal staffing is 3-4 person teams with 2 Techs and 2 RNs. Equipment includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream. Documentation system used is EPIC Cupid. Scheduling requirements involve working 4 shifts of 10 hours with required on-call duty. ICU/ER experience is necessary for this position. Required skill set includes critical care medication management and Angio/IR experience. Procedures performed on the unit include Permcath placement, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma care. Dress code requires royal blue and black for RNs and navy blue and black for Techs. The facility is certified as a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Certified Stroke Center.
