801 Chophouse Tyson's Corner is hiring for a Food Runner/ Busser. 

This is a part-time, hourly position working in a team-oriented, high-volume / fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest quality food & drink.  This position is crucial in maintaining the flow between the kitchen and the dining room to ensure guests receive their meals as promptly and accurately as possible.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

• Ability to deliver food promptly and accurately to the correct guests by table and position numbers. 
• Must be able to relay any food-related concerns or guest requests to the appropriate restaurant staff, ensuring clear communication. 
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-end / fine dining establishment is desired.  
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older. 
• Must be available to work any day of the week, including evenings, weekends & some holidays.
• The ideal candidate is a high-energy, detail-oriented professional who enjoys interacting with the public while maintaining a strong sense of hospitality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Must have the ability to multi-task and work effectively as part of a team. 
• Ability to communicate clearly while demonstrating warmth & professionalism to guests in a busy, fast-paced / high-stress environment. 
• Ability to maintain regular, reliable and predictable attendance.  

Physical requirements include, but are not limited to: 

• Ability to work in areas with variable noise levels and temperature conditions. 
• Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time.
• Physical ability to frequently lift bus pans and trays weighing up to 50lbs while maintaining balance, including navigating through potentially challenging areas
• Ability to bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb and twist

Compensation:  This is a non-exempt position paid a fixed hourly rate, plus tips.  Initial training rate of pay is $15.00 per hour (no tips).  Upon completion of training, Food Runner/Bussers are paid $7.00 per hour, plus tips.
