Join GDIT as a Technical Writer and you will build an impactful career in enterprise IT, collaborating with people who are driven and resourceful like you.MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACTAs a Technical Writer, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer's mission.Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, including full diagram schematics, manuals, and operational procedures to ensure consistency in standards and clarity of processes.Develop and maintain comprehensive Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project management, workflows, and compliance efforts.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts, to gather and organize technical information.Ensure all documentation complies with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.Review and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current systems or requirements.Maintain records of revisions, version control, and documentation repositories to ensure accessibility and traceability.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEEDBring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Technical Writer must have:Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or related field. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
