Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Project Manager to join our San Francisco construction management team. This role supports and delivers multiple tenant improvement and development projects for high‑profile clients in this dynamic market.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
• Track and report on project milestones, budgets, and schedules to support successful execution.
• Support project governance by maintaining documentation, meeting notes, and action items.
• Assist in preparing project status reports and updates for internal and client stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress and flag potential risks or delays.
• Facilitate communication between consultants, suppliers, and client teams.
• Maintain structured project documentation and ensure timely updates.
• Support forecasting and schedule updates in alignment with program goals.
• Review drawings, submittals, and reports to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Respond to field requests and coordinate timely resolution of issues.
• Provide input on cost control, constructability, and value engineering opportunities.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and project partners.
• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts across projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction project management, ideally in commercial real‑estate or tenant improvement projects.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects with varying scopes and timelines.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management platforms such as Procore.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with the California Bay Area construction market is a plus.
• Willingness to work in the San Francisco office and travel to project sites as needed.

Additional Information

Salary range for this full‑time role is $110,000–$145,000 per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not the total compensation package. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
