500 Feet Ahead Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Mechanic to join our team for an exciting direct hire opportunity where you will work closely with only 3-5 mechanics. You will be involved in the inspections, maintenance and repair of Hawker 800XP aircraft. As well as many other corporate aircraft that come in and out of the airport. This position is direct hire, starting at $35 per hour, and topping out at $45 per hour. Location: Goodyear, Arizona Perfect role for experienced corporate mechanics that have experience with Hawker airframes. As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of the aircraft through comprehensive inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Perform detailed inspections of the Hawker airframes, powerplant, avionics, and systems in accordance with manufacturer manuals, schematics, and FAA regulations You will also work on many other corporate aircraft. (Lear, GS, Cessna) Perform all workorders within annual work package. Conduct repairs, replacements, and troubleshooting. Diagnose root cause analysis issues related to electrical systems, avionics, or mechanical failures using diagnostic equipment and technical schematics Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities Ensure all work adheres to Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), aviation safety standards, and company policies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
