Hiring: Forward Deployed Engineer – Data Engineering & GenAI

Washington, DC Metro Area

Hybrid – 2–3 days/week onsite/customer locations

U.S. Citizenship Required

Experience: 8–14 years

3 Immediate Openings

We’re looking for a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer who can work directly with customers, understand complex/ambiguous technical problems, and build and deploy production-ready solutions .

This is an engineering-heavy role focused approximately 70% on Software/Data Engineering and 30% on Agentic AI .

What We’re Looking For

Software & Data Engineering

Strong Python development
ETL/ELT and data pipelines
Data modeling & schema mapping
REST APIs & API integrations
Backend services and integrations
Production-quality software development

GenAI & Agentic AI

Hands-on LLM / Generative AI application development
RAG and enterprise data integration
AI agents / agentic workflows
Tool/function calling
LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex or similar
AI workflow automation
Production deployment of AI applications

Customer-Facing Engineering

Experience working directly with customers and senior stakeholders
Ability to take ambiguous requirements and turn them into working solutions
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Comfortable moving between customer discussions, architecture, coding, data pipelines and production deployment

Someone who can:

Understand the customer problem → Design the solution → Build the APIs/data pipelines → Develop the GenAI/Agentic workflow → Deploy it into production.
