Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency. Centennial Peaks offers unique and individualized programming for adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities. Our dynamic leadership team includes a seasoned nursing department. Our hospital is fortunate to provide Electroconvulsive Therapy, Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs in addition to inpatient services.It takes passion and dedication to meet the behavioral health needs of our community and specifically Centennial Peaks Hospital adult patients struggling with mental health concerns. The Activities Therapist is an important member of the Centennial Peaks Hospital's inpatient multidisciplinary treatment team. The Activities Therapist provides expressive arts therapy, psychoeducational groups, and recreational activities to inpatient psychiatric units. We are looking for candidates who specialize in Recreational, Art, Dance/Movement or Expressive Arts. This is a PRN position-Weekdays with Occasional Weekends. A Bachelor's Degree in Specialty Therapy Required. MUST be registered as a Recreation (CTRS), Music (MT-BC), Dance/Movement (R-DMT) or Art Therapist (ATR) Preferred: Board-Certified in specialty Bachelor's Degree in Specialty Therapy Required.
