Data Product Manager

DescriptionKforce has a client in Ramsey, NJ that is seeking a Data Product Manager.Responsibilities:* Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products* Align product goals with business objectives and stakeholder needs* Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to identify and understand business needs and the problem to be solved, keeping an open-mind about the solution* Partner with designers and research teams to conduct user research and usability studies* Collaborate with engineers, architects, and analysts in order to build scalable data products* Prioritize features and functionality and manage the product backlog using agile methodologies* Oversee requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing within the confines of the Data Platform* Coordinate across technology teams to ensure dependencies are properly identified and managed* Provide visibility and updates to stakeholders about initiative progress, dependencies, and risks* Determine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure progress toward achieving business objectives * Partner regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization* Monitor and evaluate Data Product usage and gather feedback to facilitate continuous iteration and improvements* Ensure data products adhere to governance, privacy, and compliance standards* Define success metrics and use data to measure product performance* Identify opportunities for new data products or enhancements based on user behavior, business needs, and/or market trendsRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related fields* 5+ years of professional experience in product* Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data governance* Experience with tools/technologies like SQL, Python, Looker, Power BI, or similar* Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) and data pipelines* Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and organizational skills* Ability to lead and influence a broad team of resources* Ability to drive change management* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills* Ability to negotiate and prioritizeJob TypeContractCompensation50 - $65
