We are seeking a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner to join our growing group practice in the Roanoke, Virginia area. Role Overview Schedule: 5 a week Monday‑Friday. Start at 10 patients per day and grow to 15 patients per day. Provide patient care in a skilled nursing facility by conducting rounds in the short‑term units. Conduct documentation at home within 48 hours of seeing patients. Commute to a few facilities within a half‑hour of Roanoke. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments. Collaborate with facility staff to enhance patient care. Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a mental health diagnosis. Prescribe and manage medications. Ensure timely and accurate documentation. Requirements Hold a valid full PMHNP license. Active VA license. DEA license preferred but not required. Experience in healthcare or long‑term care is preferred. Expected compensation is estimated range of $100,000 - $120,000 annually with no cap on productivity income potential.
