Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering and monitoring conscious sedation, as well as assessing and monitoring the clinical status of patients undergoing various cardiac and vascular procedures. Key Responsibilities Administer and monitor conscious sedation during procedures. Assess and monitor patients’ clinical status before, during, and after procedures. Utilize theoretical and practical knowledge of medications used in the Cath Lab. Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols. Implement infection control practices. Provide hemodynamic support as needed. Communicate effectively with the patient care team, patients, and their families. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of related experience. Required licensure certifications: BLS and ACLS. Thorough understanding of cardiac diagnostics, interventions, and implantable devices. Experience in electrophysiology mapping and ablation, as well as vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures. Familiarity with interventional radiology procedures. Proficient in using EMR systems, specifically EPIC and Merge. Work Schedule Shift: 0700-1730 No weekend rotations; weekends are covered by call only. On-call responsibilities: One weekday per week and approximately every fourth weekend from Friday at 1700 through Monday at 0700. Facility Information This position is located in a community hospital with 226 total beds, featuring 2 Cath Lab procedure rooms and 5 holding bays for pre and post-care.
