Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority (LCMHA), in Adrian, Michigan has an exciting opportunity for a Child & Family Therapist [Therapist - Children's]. The annualized salary range for this position is $65,559 to $84,630 per year (based on a 37-1/2-hour work week); the range is based on the number of years of service with the agency.LCMHA is also a participating / qualifying site for several student debt relief options including the HRSA Loan Repayment Program & MDHHS Behavioral Health Loan Repayment Program (Please note that employee eligibility is determined by these programs, and not by LCMHA).Who is LCMHA?LCMHA (Lenawee Community Mental Health Authority) provides or manages a full array of services to adults and children with mental health and/or emotional disturbances, persons with substance use disorders, and persons with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to create a path to resilience, recovery, wellness, and self-determination for these individuals.What would this job entail?This opportunity is fully on site, at LCMHA's Main Office at the Human Services Building in Adrian, MI. The position also requires travel to see consumers in their homes throughout Lenawee County. As a Child & Family Therapist on the Children's Services Team you will provide treatment to children and their families using evidence-based practices. Treatment is delivered on site or in the family home. The therapist assists the family in developing an Individual Plan of Service. The therapist provides clinical information to the psychiatrist, case management staff, emergency services staff, and other treatment team members. The therapist also assists in the development of parent and family education programs, and assists the Children's Services Team in community education activities. The therapist will:Complete comprehensive assessments for children referred for intensive services.Develop a Person-Centered Plan of Service.Develop a safety/wellness plan for the child and family.Provide treatment at intervals specified in the Individual Plan of Service.Complete treatment reviews as specified in the Individual Plan of Service.Provide information and consultation to treatment team.Assist in parent education.The minimum qualifications for this position are:Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.Licensed / certified by the State of Michigan in social work, psychology, guidance and counseling, or other related behavioral health field.At least two-year's experience in assessment and treatment of children and families.Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.Why work for LCMHA?We have been around for over 40 years providing services to some of the most vulnerable members of the Lenawee County community.
