Production Worker

Connect Staffing is hiring a Production Technician for a tire retreading and repair facility in Houston, TX. In this role, you will inspect, repair, and retread tires, operate production machinery, and load and unload tires and materials throughout the facility. This is a physical, hands-on role with a clear production focus and long-term placement potential.

Pay:$15.00/hr

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Assist with tire inspection, repair, retreading, and preparation processes using hand tools and power tools.
• Operate production equipment and machinery following safety procedures.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure finished tires meet company standards.
• Maintain production records and inventory counts.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and organized following OSHA and company safety guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

• 6 months or more of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of tire industry, rubber manufacturing, or heavy industrial production experience.
• Forklift experience or forklift certification.
• Experience handling heavy or oversized materials in a production setting.
• Basic mechanical aptitude - understanding of equipment operation and simple troubleshooting.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

Pre-Employment Requirements
