Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer (Contract or Contract-to-Hire) Location: Onsite in Aurora, CO Required: Active Top Secret-SCI w/Poly clearance. No C2C, no 1999, not open to 3rd parties. $70.00 - 99.00 per hour DOE (W2 Hourly Contract) Active TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required. Geologics is seeking a talented Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI w/Poly Clearance to provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support to an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community. This position manages moderately sized projects or processes with minimal oversight and provides measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement customer integrations and/or objectives. Required Skills/Qualifications Active Top Secret-SCI w/Poly clearance. Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 6 years of prior engineering experience. Experience with systems installation, integration, and test. Experience with engineering technical and project management. Experience working with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor). Experience with Request for Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessments. Preferred Skills/Qualifications Experience with Customer NSIS and/or rapid delivery methods. Customer relationships. Experience working across contract and location boundaries. Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence. Job Responsibilities Provide systems engineering and integration support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule, and implement projects from inception through system transition. Gather, analyze, and investigate problems and issues to understand the root cause and determine appropriate resolution. Communicate with program levels, other contractors, and government stakeholders to influence parties regarding policies, procedures, and practices. Manage system integration projects and provide reliable data to the customer enabling informed decisions regarding installation, integration, checkout, and test of operational system modifications and upgrades.
