Duties

Help

• You will manage, maintain and provide oversight of quality training program.
• You will provide the Division/Branch Head with program analysis services functions by gathering data metrics to monitor and measure Code 244.
• You will conduct data input for Quality Performance System (QPS) data system involving Job Material Lists (JMLs).
• You will serve as a Facilitator/lecturer, for material processes falling under Code 244.

• Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing logistics management operations to include incorporating a knowledge of Naval Shipyard policies and procedures, as well as general ships systems to manage all aspects of material specifications, standards and requirements; optimizing work procedures by integrating and upgrading existing material support programs to develop modified work procedures; auditing, investigating, analyzing, and assessing technical operations for requirements, compliance and operational productivity; and delivering solutions to complex technical problems and formulating formal responses to audits and investigations.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
