Job Description:

- Location: Galax, VA
- Shift: Nights (7P - 7A)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Number of Openings: 1
- Patient Population: Serves all ages
- Unit: Emergency Department

About the Role:

- Required Certifications:
- AHA - ACLS
- BLS
- CPI/HWC
- PALS
- TNCC
- ENPC
- Years of Experience: 2+ years in ER/Trauma or Critical Care
- Float Requirements: Occasional to the ICU
- Supervisor: Emergency Department Director, Karen Bonham

What You'll Experience:

- Work with a small, dynamic team in a cozy 13-bed ER.
- Enjoy manageable patient ratios of 1:4.
- Utilize cutting-edge equipment and EHR (Paragon).

Common Diagnosis/Treatment in the ER:

- Sepsis
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Chest Pain
- Stroke
- Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
- Trauma

Dress Code:

- Scrub Colors: Blue or Black
- No casual wear allowed
