Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Burlington, Vermont. This assignment is for 13 to 16 weeks, requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. The role involves working in a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) environment with a focus on open heart procedures, and requires flexibility to meet patient care needs.

Job Details:

• Location: Burlington, Vermont
• Schedule: Rotating Day/Evening shifts, 12 hours per day
• Required Qualifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience with recent exposure and high competency in Cardio Vascular / Open Heart Operating Room procedures
  • Prior travel experience required
  • Large, academic, teaching hospital experience required
  • Epic Electronic Medical Record experience from within the past 2 years is mandatory and non-negotiable
  • Must have general Operating Room experience
• Additional Information:
  • Ability to float to other OR Suites (General, Orthopedic, Neuro, ENT, etc.) without scrubbing, only circulating
  • Assignment duration: 13-16 weeks
  • Work week: Monday to Sunday with no block schedules
  • Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays
  • Candidates should have reliable transportation, as public transportation is not accessible in this area
  • All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained, and complete work history information is required for submission.
