Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team, where you will play a vital role in our order fulfillment process. You will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks, including picking and packing orders, palletizing and wrapping skids, and maintaining inventory records. This position requires physical strength and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders for up to 8-10 trucks a day.
• Palletize and wrap skids efficiently.
• Manually move items weighing between 25lbs and 100lbs using team lifts.
• Keep track of inventory manually and fill out work orders.
• Identify purchase orders (POs) in the warehouse.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping floors and performing other housekeeping duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience in packing, loading, and unloading trucks.
• Proficiency in inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Ability to handle material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• At least 6 months of warehouse experience.
• Capability to lift 50-100lbs.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based out of Waukegan, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
