Compensation: $175,000 to $200,000 base DOE | Full Benefits

About the Role
The firm is building its Dallas presence from the ground up and is looking for a Director of Operations who will serve as the face of the firm in the market. This is not a desk job. You will be client-facing, project-driving, and team-building in a high growth environment. The right person is technically sharp, commercially minded, and thrives on client interaction and field accountability.

What You Will Do

• Lead day-to-day survey and mapping operations for the Dallas office
• Build and manage a high-performing team of surveyors, crew chiefs, and field personnel
• Own client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts
• Drive business development by identifying and pursuing new project opportunities, particularly in the energy sector
• Oversee project planning, execution, budgeting, and delivery across multiple concurrent engagements
• Establish and enforce quality standards, field procedures, and operational workflows
• Represent the firm at client meetings, presentations, and industry events
• Collaborate with leadership on staffing plans, resource allocation, and office growth strategy

What You Bring

• Active Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license in Texas. Required
• Significant experience managing survey operations, field crews, and client accounts
• Strong land development, energy, or infrastructure project background
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at a senior level
• Hands-on leader who is comfortable in the field and in the boardroom
• Current on technology: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant survey platforms
• BS in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field preferred
• Valid driver's license required
