  • Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the history and needs of each patient, facilitating personalized treatment strategies.

  • Employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to optimize patient outcomes.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, enabling patients to process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, integrating various therapeutic strategies for optimal recovery.

  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in high-stress situations, ensuring patient safety and emotional support when needed.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

  • Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care practices.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage documentation effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

  • At least 2 years of experience in mental health counseling or therapy post-licensure, particularly in trauma-focused settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
