Aquatic Educators at Small Fish Big Fish Swim School will be responsible for conducting swim lessons for multiple clients of different ages and skill levels. Aquatic Educators may sometimes be asked to perform ad hoc business-related duties. * This position is located in Jensen Beach, FL Perks Small Fish Big Fish Swim School has many opportunities for advancement in aquatics and management. Consistent hours and schedule Supplemental Insurance Employee Assistance Program Room for growth within the company PTO Fun Environment Swim Lessons for immediate family members Rate of Pay $14.50 to $17.50 per hour based upon aquatics certifications Responsibilities Organize and instruct individual students and small groups in swim lessons and aquatic safety. This includes babies and me, preschool aquatics, and six levels of learn-to-swim courses (guppies, minnows, goldfish, barracudas, dolphins, sharks). Lift and maneuver students to educate them on proper technique throughout the lesson. Follow Small Fish Big Fish methods and techniques for daily instruction. Act as a company spokesperson at community events by educating potential clients and community members on water safety and drowning prevention. Requirements Schedule: Must be able to work a minimum of two weekdays and a minimum of one weekend day Lifeguard/CPR Certification (required) Water Safety Instructor certification (preferred) At least 1- 3 years of experience as a Swim Instruction, Education, and/or Aquatics (preferred) Our Vision: Touch as many lives as possible through our positive and fun in-water learning experiences.
