Product Acceptance Specialist A

Description: 

Support onsite Supplier Quality activities by verifying basic product conformance to design requirements, providing objective evidence of results, and conducting auditing, surveillance, and monitoring activities. Identify and document discrepancies through the non-conformance system, control non-conforming items, review rework dispositions, and assist with product or process verification reviews.

*Must be a U.S. Citizen

#Education & Job Requirements

*Aviation or aircraft mechanic experience
*Inspection experience
*Education/experience typically acquired through basic education, such as a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

#Preferred Skills

*Valid A&P License

#Job Duties & Functions

*Verify basic product conformance to design requirements
*Provide objective evidence of inspection and verification results
*Perform auditing, surveillance, and monitoring activities
*Identify and document discrepancies using the non-conformance system
*Segregate and control non-conforming items
*Review rework dispositions
*Assist with product reviews involving internal customers during product or process verification
*Work rotating weekends as required
*Support variable 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift assignments as needed

#Physical Requirements & Environment

*Work onsite in Wichita, Kansas
*Work full time
*Availability for variable 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts
*Availability for rotating weekend assignments, including every other weekend as required
*Domestic travel is not required
*International travel is not required
