Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in the Surgical/Orthopedic unit. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care during the night shift, specifically from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to surgical and orthopedic patients.
• Monitor and assess patient health, documenting and reporting changes as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about care plans and recovery processes.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a surgical and/or orthopedic setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
