Fabricator - 2nd Shift - MB Airport

Position Fabricators are responsible for fabricating and assembling structural metal products. Responsibilities Positions, aligns, fits, and welds together parts by hammering, chipping, and grinding work piece to cut, bend, and straighten metal. Sets up and operates fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, and drill presses. Sets up and operates machine tools associated with fabricating shops such as radial drill press, end mill, and edge planer. Designs and constructs templates and fixtures upon receiving approval from supervisor. Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto work piece. Qualifications Ability to work from established layout and follows sequence of operations. Able to enter information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms. Can verify conformance of work piece to specifications.
