Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: 501 E. Oak ST. Kissimmee, FL

Schedule: Full Time Mon - Fri with evenings until 7pm

Compensation: $26/hr - $30/hr. Starting rate calculated by experience.

Incentives: $10,000 bonus and Indefinite student debt repayment assistance of $200/month

Select Physical Therapy has an immediate need for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Full Time opportunity, APPLY! Join a clinical team of 7 in a large facility, treating primarily outpatient orthopedics. Center specializes in neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, pediatrics, FCEs, fall prevention and ACL program. Though we are unable to consider new grads, PTA with 1+ year experience in orthopedics, APPLY.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
2. Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
3. Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Minimum one year working experience in orthopedics
• Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
• CPR Certification
