Locums Invasive Cardiology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Invasive Cardiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Alpena, Michigan. This role offers a mix of clinic, hospital rounding, procedures, and call coverage in a supportive, team-based environment.
Compensation: $2800 Per Day
Position Details:
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, plus call
Call Schedule: 1:2 call expectation
Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital coverage
Duties:
New and established patient visits
Inpatient rounding
Imaging and testing interpretation
Procedures based on experience, including:
Diagnostic caths (optional, not required)
Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
Cardioversions
Loop implant/explant
EMR: EPIC with Dragon dictation
Daily Workflow: Balanced mix of clinic, rounding, and procedural time
Requirements:
Active Michigan medical license
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology
ACLS and BLS certifications
Diagnostic catheter skills preferred but not required
