Stay With Us, and We'll Stand By You. Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our team. As an STNA at Woods Edge, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities: • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming • Assist with transfers, ambulating, and providing physical support as needed • Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and services • Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care Requirements: • Must have completed the certified nursing assistant course and be registered in Ohio as a nursing assistant • Must be able to visually assess residents' physical condition • Must have the ability to hear with or without the use of prosthetics soft-spoken words of residents, intercom, and alarms • Must have the physical dexterity to open small packages and to perform assistance with ADLs • Must have physical ability to lift and/or transfer residents, pulling/lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 175 pounds with assistance • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language • Must be able to remain calm and patient when a resident is anxious, agitated, combative, or displaying other types of distress • Must be friendly, have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic, and work cooperatively as a team member Part-Time Opportunities: • Part-time positions available, including every other weekend and 12-hour shifts • Night shift differential available If you are a dedicated and compassionate STNA looking for a rewarding career, join our team at Woods Edge Rehab and Nursing.
