Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires availability for night shifts and involves working three 12-hour shifts per week, with a minimum commitment of every other weekend and holiday shifts. There may be an option to flex to four 12-hour shifts if needed and available.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide patient care in the emergency department setting, assessing and prioritizing treatment based on individual patient needs.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care and ensure positive patient outcomes.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility protocols.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.QualificationsRegistered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.Minimum of two years of experience in an emergency room setting; three years preferred.Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS, all accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA).Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.Certification in CPI or CIC is advantageous; travelers can obtain CPI if the commitment is longer than three months.First-time travelers may be considered if they have at least three years of ER experience.Shift DetailsThis position primarily involves rotating night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, working three 12-hour shifts each week. Flexibility to transition to four 12-hour shifts may be available depending on staffing needs.Additional InformationCompliance with all hospital policies and procedures is required at all times.
