Job Description Responsible for carrying out goal-oriented treatments established by the Occupational Therapist to facilitate a maximum level of independence in activities of daily living (ADL) and upper-extremity (UE) functioning. Qualifications Education: Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a college program satisfying the American Occupational Therapy Association academic and internship requirements for competence in OT. License/Certification: Nevada State License as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (must be in the process of licensure and practicing under a student license). Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Current BLS certification. Other: Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
