Quality Audit - 3rd Shift

Where we need you

• Perform first-piece inspections and dimensional measurements to support production approval processes.
• Conduct initial part inspections using fixtures, calipers, indicators, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
• Identify, escalate, and help contain nonconforming materials on the production floor to prevent quality issues.
• Perform incoming material inspections and complete all required documentation.
• Conduct outgoing product inspections and generate inspection reports.
• Identify and escalate supplier quality concerns to the appropriate teams.
• Manage and maintain containment areas for nonconforming materials.
• Calibrate, maintain, and verify measuring instruments, gauges, calipers, and other inspection equipment.
• Complete additional inspection, testing, and measurement activities as assigned.
• Support workplace organization, cleanliness, and 6S initiatives.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities and other quality-related duties as needed.

How to convince us

• High school diploma or GED required. 
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry and plastic parts environment preferred. 
• Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers, gauges, and CMM equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of automotive quality systems and inspection processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
