This rewarding, part-time contract role offers exposure to diverse age groups and environments, perfect for a professional skilled in school-based OT. You’ll work flexibly across four vibrant campuses, supporting both elementary and high school students in Arcadia, LA and the surrounding area. There’s also a unique opportunity to provide leadership by supervising a COTA.

Highlights of what you’ll bring:

• Current, active Louisiana OT license (required)
• Experience or strong interest in delivering OT services in a school-based setting
• Willingness and ability to supervise and mentor a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Professionalism in collaborating with educators, families, and school staff
• Familiarity with conducting PreK evaluations and IEP processes

Role expectations:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services for students across four local schools
• Be onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays and conduct PreK assessments on Fridays
• Oversee COTA and provide necessary guidance and supervision
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
• Complete documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Adapt activities and interventions to help students access the curriculum and meet IEP goals
• Deliver services with a flexible, compassionate, and student-focused approach
• Open to providing virtual support while an onsite candidate is secured
