Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Verification in Romeoville IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients visitors and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor and control access points by verifying identification authorizing entry and exit maintaining visitor and/or vendor logs and reporting irregular activity in a calm problem-solving manner.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations with professionalism documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas loading zones warehouse perimeters and other assigned parts of the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Support receiving and shipping operations by monitoring inbound and outbound traffic checking credentials for deliveries and pickups and following site-specific post orders for restricted areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
